Who says you can't get credit for something you already know? Introducing the UExcel credit-by-examination program. With the UExcel program you can earn from three to six college credits by taking computer-based examinations in popular lower-level undergraduate subjects you've already studied. Upon successful completion of exams, credits are awarded, on a transcript, by Excelsior College, a regionally accredited distance learning institution, and can be transferred to thousands of universities and colleges. Exams are delivered at thousands of Pearson VUE test centers around the globe, so you can schedule and test at your convenience.
Spanish Language (SPA102)
The UExcel examination in Spanish Language measures knowledge and understanding of material typically taught in a two-semester, six-credit elementary course in Spanish. The content of the examination corresponds with course offerings such as Elementary Spanish. It assesses basic Spanish language proficiencies in the areas of receptive skills, expressive skills, and cultural skills (applying language proficiencies within authentic cultural contexts), through four question types: listening comprehension (using audio cues), reading comprehension, verbal communication, and grammar.
