Building Capacity for Teaching and Learning is a mentor- and peer-supported modular teacher professional development program available offline through face-to-face workshops, as a free download, and as an online course.
We offer two versions of the online course:
All versions of the program consist of modules designed by and for primary and secondary educators. They help teachers improve their professional knowledge, classroom practice, and become mentors and leaders in their schools and communities.
The Building Capacity for Teaching and Learning Program addresses a pressing need for competent, culturally-attuned, contemporary, concise, practical, and accelerated teacher training that leads to student achievement. Online participants create a professional e-Portfolio with the help of BCTL Mentors, experienced educators from around the world who provide their time and expertise to support program participants.
